Private Tuition
English and Maths
I provide private tuition in English and Maths. I may also be able to teach other subjects on request. Tuition takes place either at my home in Yarnfield, Staffordshire, or online via Zoom.
Tuition
I provide tuition for children working at levels Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, including Functional Skills. I can also provide tuition for mature students. I ensure that each student is confident in foundational principals so that they can grow in confidence and really get to enjoy the subject. I have had a lot of success with helping children who are falling behind in school to improve their grades. I also work with gifted and talented pupils who would like to be challenged and taken further in a subject.
I have a lot of experience working with home educated children. I work closely with parents so that I can help a child to achieve according to the family's own home education aims and goals. Usually home educated children do not follow the National Curriculum and therefore tuition is bespoke and tailored to the child and the family.

About Clare Berry - Tutor
I am a fully qualified teacher. I have worked in middle and secondary schools, specializing in science and design and technology.
I have worked as a tutor for many years, teaching English, Maths and Science to GCSE level. I also have a lot of experience working with home educated children. I taught my own children at home, and now my grandchildren are home educated. I have also provided education for home educated children who have EHCP plans.
